Microsoft ”burries” Windows Phone 8.1

- Adrian Ungureanu

Most of the recent reports point that Microsoft has a market share on the mobile operating systems market, under 0.1%, so in almost logical for Microsoft to try and reorganize its business.

They say that Windows Phone 8.1 only reached is end of support and that’s why they won’t be releasing any update for this Windows version. But this seems more like the beginning of the end for Windows platform on mobile devices as rumors already point out that Microsoft is preparing a completely different Windows Mobile version.

So, Windows Mobile 10 is expected to be left behind by Microsoft as the software giant might release a new OS, that if it’s going to release any new OS ever again.
Honestly, I don’t know why Microsoft is still trying since its pretty clear that they lost everything to Google and Apple.
