As expected and announced by the South Korean company itself, the new LG G6 series was presented a day before MWC 2017, in Barcelona. The new flagship is a good looking smartphone, with high-end specifications but the release didn’t brought anything new.
It was just another proof that the “leaking industry” works very well. LG didn’t managed to surprise us too much. Besides that, we got what we expected: a 5.7-inch Full-Vision Quad HD display, with a weird ratio of 18:9 (2:1), 4 GB RAM 32GB and 64GB versions of internal storage.
As anticipated the older Snapdragon 821 chipset from Qualcomm. This was anticipated because LG couldn’t got any of the new Snapdragon 835 because Samsung secured all the chipsets for its Galaxy S8. LG didn’t said if the next stocks will get Snapdragon 835.
The new LG G6 is as revealed previously dust and water resistant, it got a 3300 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0, a dual main camera of 13 MP and a selfie snapper of 5 MP. The smartphone comes in Astro Black, Mystic White şi Ice Platinum casing.
Surprisingly, LG didn’t not revealed the prices yet, but there are some rumors that the cheapest version will have a price around €690.
