LG announce first ever Quad-HD mobile display

LG is at it again with the world’s first 5.5-inch Quad-HD AH-IPS LCD display for mobiles. The 2560×1440 resolution makes for a totally overkill pixel density of 538ppi. This is four times the pixel information of an HD display. It will allow you to open desktop web pages without any deformities in the images. At the same time, the panel is 12% thinner than the LG G2’s display. Pretty cool, but do we need this resolution?
