Lenovo Miix is a 10.1-inch tablet with a HD IPS Display (1366×768) and a full build of Windows 8. Yes, apparently Windows RT isn’t hot with anybody else but Microsoft right now. And while it’s a little strange to use a traditional PC desktop on a tablet device, we’d rather take that than being unable to install x86 applications, thank you.
Apart from the traditional quality of Lenovo, the Miix offers a dual-core Intel Atom CPU, 2GB RAM and a generous 64GB storage (keep in mind though, you will have considerably less on tap due to the Windows 8 installation). There is a microSD slot too.
The Miix weights at 544 grams and has a 10.6 mm profile. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G/GPS are supported, and the battery lasts for around 10 hours with a single charge.
At a $500 price it’s easy to imagine why tablets have ruined the party for laptops and even desktop PC’s. Here comes the lightweight, portable Windows 8 running device which doesn’t have humming ventilators, lasts twice as long as your yesteryear laptop on a single charge and can cover almost every need of the mainstream user.Source: PhoneArena
