Instagram has entered the ring to box with Vine, after a lenghty preparation program featuring the implementation of video sharing. “Simplicity, beauty and community” are the principles in command, according to Instagram. Both the iOS and Android Instagram apps now support video sharing, with a special Cinema mode for image stabilisation and a choice of covers for the video.
With 130 million users versus 13 million for Vine, Instagram already has a massive advantage over Twitter’s pioneering service. We expect Vine will respond with 30 second videos or some additional filters. Apps have to compete, you know.Source: Mashable
