ICQ Launches Linux Version


ICQ for Linux offers sleek user interface, high performance and all the essential capabilities of the IM.


ICQ for Linux features personal and group chats, history synchronization, allows sharing files of up to 4GB, sending voice messages (including speech-to-text recognition), and offers large collection of stickers.


The new ICQ has been tested for compatibility with the popular Linux versions. ICQ for Linux is available via icq.com in x32 and x64. What’s more, instruction for building a Linux version of ICQ based on its open source code has been uploaded to GitHub.
