Hyundai to bring NFC control to their cars

South Korean auto mogul Hyundai offered a peek into the near future by announcing its plans to integrate NFC (Near Field Communication) technology in its upcoming cars. The concept speaks of a NFC pad for your smartphone inside the vehicle. By resting your NFC-equipped handy on top of it, you will be able to memorise the position of the driver’s seat and mirrors, lock and unlock the doors, start and stop the engine, synchronise contacts, music, radios, profiles… oh, and wireless charging, as that seems to be all the craze now. Mind you, we won’t be seeing those futuristic cars until around 2015, but we bet someone will go ahead and offer similar technology before Hyundai.
