While most of the attention goes to Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8, China’s Huawei may come with a big surprise, as new images and information about Mate 10 specs leak on the web.
Judging by the images and the specs Huawei Mate 10 will be a real contender for Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8.
If the renders depict the real deal, you can see a gorgeous smartphone, with almost no bezels display, with a far greater screen-to-body ratio, that what we’ve seen in the latest leaked photos of Galaxy Note 8’s protective panels.
We can notice the dual camera at the back and no trace of fingerprint scanner, nor at the front or the back of the phone. Since we’ve heard nothing in the matter we don’t think Huawei will bring its own in-display fingerprint scanner.
The source of the new leaks suggests that Huawei Mate 10 will sport a 5.8-inch display, with 2.160 x 1080 resolution, so we’re talking about a 18.5:9 screen ratio.
The leak also suggest that on the both sides of the phone will find dual cameras. The frontal camera would stand at 16 MP, most probably a combo of two 8MP sensors, but about the rear camera the tipster says is at 34MP and I can’t find any combo, that would match this sum. It could be a combo of 18MP+16MP sensors, but it might as well be 20MP+14MP, but both feel weird.
And that’s why I have my own doubts about this leak. Take it with a pinch of salt.
