Well, things are becoming a bit more confusing with Huawei new Mate 10 series, as rumors are starting to become a little more mixed up.
We do know that Huawei Mate 10 will be a series and there will be quite a few models in the series. Until know, at least three models will be launched: a standard Mate 10, a Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Lite.
Soon after these rumors were out, a smartphone from Huawei was granted certification from TENAA, and everybody said that this is Mate 10 Lite. Then there were de invites for a Maimang 6, which is also known as Huawei G10, and the people started to believe that this is not going to be Mate 10 Lite.
Still, the table has turned again as famous tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) says that the codename for this smartphone is ”Rhone”, which is also used internally by the company for Mate 10 Lite. To make a long story short, Huawei Maimang 6, will also play the roll as the Lite model of the new Mate 10 family. It’s going to be sold in China as Maimang 6 or Huawei G10, or whatever name they would pick for it, and outside China, most likely in the Western countries it’ll be sold as Mate 10 Lite. But maybe Huawei will shed more light on the subject on October 16, in Munich, when the new Mate 10 series will be unveiled.
