Even though it is not a sales hit, in comparison with other flagship available on the market, HTC wants to launch a new variant of their HTC U11 smartphone.
The guys at Android Authority claim that some one of their sources has confirmed that the codenamed HTC Ocean Life will come to market as the HTC U11 Life later this year and they also posted an alleged picture of the phone.
Specs-wise, from the previous rumors we learn that it’ll sport a 5.2-inch Full HD display and underneath it sits the front-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 chipset, but it could also be a Snapdragon 660. The RAM amount is unknown at this time, though the phone sports 32 GB of storage that can be bumped up by an additional 2 TB through the microSD card slot.
HTC U11 Life is supposed to feature a 16 MP Panorama Selfie camera and a 16 MP rear-facing camera with phase-detection auto-focus. Moreover, the U11 Life will come with HTC’s Edge Sense, signaling the company’s efforts to bring this unique feature to non-flagship devices.
As for availability, it is believed that it’ll be sold through T-Mobile.
