HTC’s new flagship will be release next week and it seems that someone ran the new HTC U through GFXBench and we get an early glimpse at its specifications.
The new smartphone will be unveiled Tuesday, May 16, the official date announced by the Taiwanese company and it seems it will be one to compete directly with the LG G6, Huawei P10 or the new Galaxy S8 smartphones.
According to the listing we see that HTC U will get a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) display, the best Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 835, with octa-core processor at 2,4 GHz, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage.
The new device will sport a 12 MP main camera and a 16 MP selfie snapper, which should satisfy the selfie lovers. The phone will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with the latest HTC Sense UI.
