The release of HTC U is getting closer as the graphic that is to be printed on the retail box was leaked out also and we get to take another look at the specifications of HTC’s next flagship.
The infographic that should be printed on the retail box shows that HTC U will get 5.5-inch QHD display protected by Gorilla Glass 5, Snapdragon 835 chips, 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.
HTC U 11 will have a 12MP f/1.7 main camera with OIS and HTC’s “UltraPixel 3” and “UltraSpeed AF” brandings. The front camera is also confirmed to have 16 MP, which should make selfie lovers happy.
HTC U will bring dual-SIM support, NFC, Wi-Fi ac, HTC BoomSound, and HTC’s Usonic headphones with active noise-cancellation will be part of the feature set along with a fingerprint scanner and a Quick Charge-capable 3,000 mAh battery.
Of course, the HTC U’s selling point will be its touch-sensitive edges which can perform actions based on gestures or squeezes of some kinds.
The smartphone will be unveiled on May 16, the announcement being made officially by HTC, two weeks ago.
