HTC suffered greatly from the production delay of the HTC One which led them unable to ride on its huge initial demand and sell heaps of the red-hot smartphone. According to J.P. Morgan Securities, it’s not too late for the taiwanese maker to turn the tide both for themselves and for all the customers who were unable to score their handsets. HTC has solved manufacturing difficulties and will reportedly increase its earnings by 50% in May, which will see 2 million units of the flagship One shipped to customers. At present, only 300 000 units were sold, and lack of marketing and stock are solely to blame.
