Though it was the first big company to put a dual camera on a smartphone back in 2011, the company suddenly and inexplicably ditched the dual camera setups in 2015.

But they will get back on the trend this year. The company just confirmed that on January 15 they will unveil a new device. As you can see in the picture above, in the background there are two cameras and the fact the we know that the next HTC smartphone is going to be dubbed “HTC U11 EYEs”, there’s no doubt about it.

EYEs was previously known by its codename, HTC Harmony, which many of us waited to see it launch in 2017, but that didn’t happen. But it’ll be unveiled next week.

About the phone, the few bits and pieces of information leaked suggests a 5.99-inch FHD+ (2160x1080px) display, with an 18:9 aspect ratio and wil be powered by a Snapdragon 652 chipset. Also, they say EYEs will have two variants of RAM and storage: 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB.

The main dual camera is said to have one 12MP senzor and a secondary sensor of 5MP. No word about the selfie camera, though. The last thing we know is that is should be fueled by a 3,930mAh battery. But we’ll find more in Monday.
