HTC announced two new smartphones who have been in the talks lately. First is the budget-oriented HTC Desire 200. It has a 3.5-inch display with 320×480 resolution, Snapdragon S1 CPU at 1GHz and 512MB RAM. It also has 4GB memory and microSD slot, a 5MP camera and a 1230mAh battery. It supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS and it features sensors for accelerations, proximity and light. The price will be around 150 euros.
The HTC Butterfly S is an updated version of the legendary Butterfly – the first 5-inch 1080p smartphone. Its successor is a modest improvement with the same quality display, BoomSound stereo speakers, HTC Sense 5, Snapdragon 600 CPU clocked at 1.9GHz, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, UltraPixel rear camera and 2MP front camera. The battery has a hefty capacity of 3250mAh. The smartphone was announced only for Taiwan, where it will carry a salty pricetag of $766.
