HMD to ship the 3G Nokia 3310 variant in Europe this fall

The modern version of the legendary phone was born as a PR stunt, to draw even more attention on Nokia’s comeback on the mobile phone market, but it seems that the model might be more popular than the two Finnish companies anticipated.

Otherwise, we don’t see any reason for HMD Global to release a 3G variant of Nokia 3310, if the model wasn’t in demand. This variant was granted FCC certification a couple of weeks ago, but it seems it’s going to be shipped in Europe too, not just in North America.

A carrier from Ireland, Three Iris, just confirmed the 3G variant to become available late September or early October.
