Still no word about the true Nokia-branded flagship smartphone yet, but we find that HMD Global will bring two more, less equipped smartphones at Mobile World Congress 2017, in Barcelona.
Famous leakster Evan Blass (a.k.a @evleaks) shares new information about HMD and Nokia plans for the upcoming mobile technology event in Spain. It seems that the two Finnish companies will present Nokia 3 and Nokia 5, two smartphone that are less equipped than the Nokia 6 model, that was launch last month in China.
Those two new smartphone will be sold in Europe at low-cost prices. Which is not a bad thing, be the way. The Nokia 3 will be priced at €149 while the Nokia 5 will be sold for €199. It appears that the Nokia 6 will be brought to Europe as well, for a price of €249.
Nokia 3 is still a mystery but about Nokia 5 we find that it’ll feature a 5,2 inch HD 720p display, 2 GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC (same processor as Nokia 6) and a 12 MP main camera.
Nokia 6 is a big hit in sales, so big that HMD Global can’t cope with the high demand from Chinese buyers. Let’s see if the new Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 will get the same warm welcome.
