HMD Global might bring its Nokia smartphones in Europe after MWC 2017

HMD Global, the Finnish company that produces Nokia-branded phones, added another European country on the list, where it sells its feature phone, Nokia 150, through a partnership with Carphone Warehouse.

Nokia 150 was launched by HMD in December and since last week it sells în Holland, but now Carphone Warehouse sells the phone in the UK for £35. But the European await for Nokia-branded smartphone.

The Nokia 6 sells well in China and HMD Global can’t handle the high demand for its mid-range smartphone. Yet, there are no information about the plans of selling smartphones in Europe.

The Marketing Director of Carphone Warehouse, Jeremy Fennell, tells us some interesting facts. “The arrival of the Nokia 150 marks the beginning of an exciting new partnership, one that will see even more Nokia handsets made available to our customers. We’re also hearing they’ve got some exciting new announcements to make out at MWC later this month”. said Fennell.

That might mean that HMD and Nokia plan to bring the new smartphones to Europe as well, but after they will be unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2017, in Barcelona.
