The humble Chromebook is getting a touch of premium, it seems. According to a video posted by Android Authority, Google are internally working on a 2560×1700 Chromebook. The video in question is allegedly stolen by hackers from the servers of a media company by the name of Slinky.me who’s been working for Google for a while, hence the quick takedown that followed. If the hi-res Chromebook’s for real, then Google are already testing the machine inside their grim laboratories.
Meanwhile, the Chromebook movement has gotten quite the traction lately, with Samsung’s model being a best-seller on Amazon, and Hewlett-Packard and other major PC-players launching their own spins on the concept.
