Google helps your eyes and your sleep when you read from Play Books app

Whether we like it or not to read from our smartphone, tablet or laptop, sometimes we don’t have a choice and the moments when we really have to do this are those before going to bed. You stay with a blue light in your eyes, in almost dark, and then you ask yourself why you cannot fall asleep.

Google doesn’t want you to ruin your eyesight or your heart beat, so now has launched an update to its Play Books app that introduces the Night Light option. This option gradually replaces the blue light of your smartphone screen with a warmer yellow one, and at the same time the app adapts the light to the time of the day.

The update is available for iOS and Android, and the activation of the option is made with a simple tap on Night Light, from Play Books app.
