It’s been 19 year already since Google was born as a research project for its founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, it started as a search engine, but now is one of the largest companies in the world.

Google was first dubbed “BackRub” but because it could connect do a huge amount of information on the web, the founders decided to call it “Googol” (which is a number followed by 100 zeros, the largest number), but the name was misspelled along the way and it end it up as “Google”.

Now, Google isn’t just an online search engine. It’s has the largest e-mail service in the world, it has the most popular maps and navigation service in the world, it develops the most used operating systems for mobile devices, it’s investing in autonomous cars, it invests in spatial projects, and it’s part of the Alphabet, the mother company, which has, probably, the coolest web address abc.xyz.
