The Thai subsidiary of Gionee announced that M7 will be launched in Thailand on September 27, but the Chinese company has confirmed that the M7 smartphone will be made official on September 25, in a special event in China.
Gionee M7 Power has already appeared at GFXBench and from the benchmark we find it sports a 6-inch Full HD+ (2160×1080 pixels) resolution that confirms a 18:9 or 2:1 screen ratio, similar to LG’s latest smartphones, like LG G6 of LG V30.
Under the hood is hidden a MediaTek MT6758 chipset, with 2.3GHz octa-core processor, Mali G71 GPU, 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone runs on Android 7.1.1.
Going to camera department, the teaser hints for a dual camera and the GFXBench confirms a 16MP sensor. Probably the second sensor of the dual camera might stand at 8MP. At the front we’ll find an 8MP selfie snapper.
