China’s Gionee is set to follow the latest trends on the smartphone market, by launching Gionee M7 a “full screen” display and dual camera phone which might be unveiled soon.
The Chinese firm has tease M7 and the illustration depicts a smartphone that sports a full screen display and it also hints at the alleged dual camera that it will feature.
Gionee M7 has already appeared at GFXBench and from the benchmark we find it sports a 6-inch Full HD+ (2160×1080 pixels) resolution that confirms a 18:9 or 2:1 screen ratio, similar to LG’s latest smartphones, like LG G6 of LG V30.
Under the hood is hidden a MediaTek MT6758 chipset, with 2.3GHz octa-core processor, Mali G71 GPU, 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone runs on Android 7.1.1.
Going to camera department, the teaser hints for a dual camera and the GFXBench confirms a 16MP sensor. Probably the second sensor of the dual camera might stand at 8MP. At the front we’ll find an 8MP selfie snapper.
