Gionee gets TENAA certification for a low specs smartphone

China’s Gionee is preparing a new smartphone and it received TENAA certification for this new model, listed as F109L, a rather modest device that should end up in the low-cost segment.

This new smartphone sports a 5-inch HD (720p) display, a quad-core, 1.25 GHz processor, 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage. The handset features an 8MP rear unit and a 5MP front shooter. Measuring 143.0 × 70.0 × 7.9mm and weighing in at 141.9 g, it runs Android Nougat (version 7.0) out of the box, and packs in a 2,660mAh battery.

Color options include black and gold. No information on the phone’s pricing and availability at the moment.
