Before preparing that special summer holiday, check out some of the highlights of June’s events available through G-Ticket from Germanos Telecom Romania. Either you are a music fan or enjoy going to the museum, you will surely find an opportunity to spend some quality time in the city or, why not, in an unconventional place, such as a castle.
Cluj-Napoca surroundings are once more on June’s event map, with Electric Castle Festival, held at Bannfy Castle and Residence from Bontida, the “Versailles of Transylvania”, on June 21st. The line-up includes some of the biggest international and local acts from the DJ and live acts electronic scene. Morcheeba, Dub Pistols, Telepopmusik are some of the first artists from the 40 which will be present on the 4 stages of the festival.
Nouvelle Vague, a French artists’ group, will concert on June 21st in the Parcul Rozelor from Timisoara. Marc Collin and Olivier Libaux’s project will give an extended performance, with 3 vocalists: Melanie Pain, Liset Alea and Zula.
Patricia Kaas, one of the most powerful and respected voices in the world, will return to Bucharest on June 23rd, during a performance at Sala Palatului.
The same location will host, on June 25th, the Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club, the true pioneers and ambassadors of son montuno, danzón, cha cha cha or bolero. The band will delight the public in its full formula, in what is set to another great performance. The same show can be seen in Cluj-Napoca, at Sala Sporturilor “Horia Demian”, on June 26th.
Diana Krall is promoting her new album, “Glad Rag Doll”, through a concert at Sala Palatului on June 30th.
