There is almost nothing that we don’t know about Samsung’s new flagship that will be unveiled, after a long way, Wednesday, March 29, the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. So it there is absolutely no surprise that the results from AnTuTu confirms the specs we already know.
Both smartphones we’re tested with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 and with Samsung’s Exynos 8895 processors and the results show 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB internal storage and the cameras have 12 MP and 8 MP sensors.
Note the screen resolution. One unit reported 1080×1920 pixels while others show 1080×2220 pixels. That’s because Samsung recently switched to rendering the interface at 1080p. The first resolution seems to be a compatibility mode, in case apps can’t handle the wider aspect ratio (18.5:9). And we know that the new phones come with a 2:1 screen ratio.
