Foxconn prepare to start producing the next iPhone

The machine is ready to spin! Foxconn has once again begun its mass-hiring campaign for their facility in Zhengzhou – the one which makes the new iPhone only. Yes, the demand for iPhone is so big it actually gets built in its own plant, in unison with four more across China and Brasil who also make previous-gen iOS devices.

Currently Foxconn Zhengzhou employs between 250 000 and 300 000 workers, with the campaign running across March and April resulting in around 10 000 new recruits each week! Apparently Apple has ordered plenty of old-gen iPhones and iPads as well.
