Four mysterious phones appear in a Nokia presentation video

    - Adrian Ungureanu

As you all know, Nokia unveiled three smartphones at the beginning of this year, the Nokia 3, 5 and 6, which just makes their way into store around the world.

Previous information suggested that HMD plans to release at least 7 Nokia smartphones this year. Besides the Nokia 3, 5 and 6, only three other models have appeared in rumors, the Nokia 7, Nokia 8 and Nokia 9. Nothing about the seventh, which might possibly be a variant of one of the six mention before. Probably is the Nokia 6 Arte Black. No one knows.

Whats more interesting is that a short presentation video, posted on Vimeo, was promoted by famous leakster Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) on its Twitter account. This video shows not 3, but 4 smartphones. Blass notes that ”what interests me about this video that it shows 4 smartphones, but Nokia only sells 3 (none with dual lens).”

Very well pointed out. If we compare the camera modules, not even the ones with one lens, none of them resembles the previous models, the Nokia 3, 5, or 6. And, yeah, no Nokia smartphone release until now has dual lens camera.

The video looks legit. Asked by another Twitter user if the video is real, Blass answered that it is, cause the guy who uploaded the video on Vimeo, work for Nokia many years.

Evan Blass has proved himself to be a very trustworthy source of information, so we’ll give him credit this time too.
