It seems that we’re getting to the point when foldable smartphones are becoming more and more interesting idea for manufacturers. Samsung announced that in 2018 they will launch a foldable smartphone with pliable screen, but ZTE is already prepared to take start.

Axon M or Axon Multy might not have a pliable screen but it’s going to be foldable and the FCC certification confirms the rumors we’ve been talking about two weeks ago. the US institution has approved ZTE’s foldable smartphone which means that it can be launched in the country.

The sketches reveals that Axon M will be foldable and it’s going to have two screens. When unfolded the two screen will form only one, with 6.8 inches in diagonal an 2160 x 1920 pixels resolution.

Spec-wise we should expect to a Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, a single 20 MP camera, and a 3,120 mAh battery. I wonder if it’ll be enough for a smartphone with two screens.

Anyway, we’ll find in about a week everything about ZTE Axon M which is expected to be unveiled on October 17th.
