Facebook News Feed will change based on the internet connection

Facebook has announced the changes that will do to the manner in which it loads the information from News Feed, based on the internet connection and on the phone from which you access the platform.

Basically, from now on, if you don’t have a smart expensive phone and a fast internet connection that allows your News Feed to load efficiently and fast, Facebook won’t take all of this into account. But it will change the way the info is displayed.

The videos will be fewer and left behind, while the status updates and link post will have priority. At the same time, when the connection is bad, Facebook will start to download materials related to the ones that you are reading, while you are reading, in order to be ready for you after finishing the current one. So, when connection is poor, the blank waiting screen will be replaced with previously downloaded stories or with images at a lower quality.
