Facebook has begun to support GIFs

GIFs, GIFs everywhere, now on Facebook too. After the social network hasn’t been too supportive with instant GIFs, the Facebook team thought that it is time for users to be able to add a proper GIF whenever they want to post a status or a comment, without the need for an intermediate link.

All you have to do is to choose a GIF, take its link and put it on Facebook, and it will play automatically. This update is already rolled out, but it is possible to wait a little bit before your turn to use a GIF to express your opinion.
