Dropbox buys App Store success Mailbox

Mailbox is an innovative e-mail client for iOS that apparently got around to processing 60 million messages daily barely a month after its release. It doesn’t take that many numbers to know you have a success on your hands, and Dropbox are the first to make an offer and welcome this fine little startup aboard. The 14-member team behind Mailbox is excited at the opportunity to begin working on goals previously too big to attempt, and Dropbox are equally happy with their new partnership. Their plans begin with basics such as porting Mailbox to other mobile platforms and integrating the client with Dropbox’s cloud storage app. From that point on, the sky’s the limit.
