Dolce Sport launches Dolce Sport integrated application dedicated to the sports fans, offering users the possibility to watch live, from any device, the competitions broadcasted on Dolce Sport TV and all the important sports news. Also, it is the only application available on Samsung smart TVs developed by a sports TV channel. Every day, the livestreaming covers 96 hours of quality sports from over 30 local and international sports competitions, broadcasted on four TV channels.
The Dolce Sport app delivers a series of features which are essential for a positive viewing experience, such as the Archive, which allows users to review the preferred key moments from a competition or a TV show whenever they want, or the possibility of setting calendar Notifications for the events programmed on the 4 Dolce Sport channels or notifications related to the favourite team or sportsmen, so that users are announced about their performance and won’t miss any important event.
Developed in a very short time (less than 3 months), the Dolce Sport app was designed for a high number of devices and operating systems, offering access to the Dolce Sport channel content for 92% of the types of devices on the market. Moreover, through a complex structure of servers and video delivery platforms, the application is planned to support the simultaneous access of over 80,000 fans of all sports. The app is also automatically adapting the quality of the broadcast to the users’ connection speed, for a flawless viewing experience.
“As you know, Dolce Sport is the only television to broadcast all the 51 matches of the European Championship from France. The Dolce Sport app brings sports in your pocket, in your bag or in your car, on your mobile devices, regardless the operating system. But football is lived at maximum intensity especially on wide screens, and Smart TVs have become more and more popular. This is why we considered it was important to build an app to equally bring Dolce Sport on Samsung smart TVs’ screens, as well as on mobile devices, for those who are on the move. As a result, we can provide access to all supporters to the most important competitions of the moment”, says Alina Cazacu, Manager E-Activities Non-Core Business Telekom Romania.
The app can be downloaded for free and is available on all the mobile devices operating systems (iOS, Android and Windows Mobile), on Samsung smart TVs, and also on desktop or laptop, by accessing Live.DolceSport.ro. In order to have access to the video livestreaming of the competitions broadcast on Dolce Sport TV, users have at their disposal monthly subscriptions at 6 Euros/ month + VAT – with the promotional price of 5 Euros/ month + VAT in the first three months. The interested users may pay the subscription online (directly in the application, as monthly payment), through SMS or voucher.
With Dolce Sport, users may watch LIVE and exclusively the most important sports competitions of the moment: football (all the 51 games from Euro 2016, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, League 1, Premiere League, La Liga, Bundesliga, FA Cup), tennis (ATP 500, Davis Cup, FED Cup), handball (the most important international competitions), Formula 1, NBA, NFL, rugby, volley and others.
