Dolce Sport becomes Telekom Sport

Telekom Sport is the new brand under which Telekom will bring the most important sports events in the Romanians’ homes, with lots of live broadcasts, quality sports news and analysis TV shows made by outstanding professionals, journalists and glories of Romanian sports.

Considering that the Telekom brand promise is about Experiences Together, lived and shared with others, and because sport means emotion, passion, joy and hope for the fans, Telekom Sport becomes the Fan’s Television – Telekom Sport is all the sport you love. Now.

Thus, anytime and anywhere, live, on TV, laptop, tablet and smartphone, Telekom Sport offers sports enthusiasts a whole package of premium competitions. All the UEFA Champions League and Europa League matches could be seen only at Telekom Sport, but fans can also enjoy all the Liga 1 and La Liga matches, the exclusively broadcasted Premier League games, the FA Cup, the German and French Cup matches, the most important auto competitions (Formula 1, WRC, Formula E, Formula 2, GP 3 or Porsche Supercup), the most spectacular American championships (NFL, NBA and NHL), the Romanian handball and rugby competitions, both men’s and women’s, all the Romanian Rugby National Team matches, as well as the ATP circuit tournaments.
In December, exclusively in Romania, at Telekom Sport, sports fans will be able to watch the Women’s Handball World Championship, where Romania is among the favourites for medals.

By accessing Telekom Sport, approximately 1.5 million subscribers will be able to watch the most important sports events in the world. In 2016, Telekom’s sports television was the only Romanian television to broadcast all the 51 European Football Championship matches, including the National Football Team games.

The Telekom Sport TV channels are available with Telekom’s TV service, Telekom TV Web & Mobile service and Telekom TV mobile application. Besides Telekom Sport’s linear channels 1,2,3,4,5,6, there are now four Telekom Sport Online channels available in the Telekom TV application.

Thus, all Telekom customers with television services have the Telekom Sport channels included in the basic bundles. In addition, the content can be watched for free, online, on and the Telekom TV application.
Also, all Telekom customers with mobile post-paid services have free access to the Telekom Sport channels on and in the Telekom TV application.
The Telekom fixed services subscribers that don’t find themselves in these two contexts, benefit from the option Pachet Online Telekom Sport, for 1.30 euro, VAT included (the content can be watched on and in the Telekom TV application).
For Telekom’s prepaid and non-customers, the option Pachet Online Telekom Sport is available for 3.20 euro, VAT included (the content can be watched on and in the Telekom TV application).

The online viewing of Telekom Sport channels is done by authentication with the MyAccount user and password on and in the Telekom TV application.

For the rebranding campaign, Telekom collaborated with the creative agency Leo Burnett Romania, and on graphics production, with the German agency, United Senses.
