COSMOTE Romania proudly announces the wining of two Gold EFFIE awards and one Bronze at the ninth edition of EFFIE Awards Romania, one of the most important competitions in the advertising industry in Romania. The awards come as a confirmation of COSMOTE Romania’s endeavour to offer the best solutions in order to meet all customers’ communication needs.
“Winning two Gold EFFIE’s out of six offered and one Bronze is quite an achievement. This recognition certifies our belief that the customers are the architects and conductors of our communication. With them on top of our mind, the effort put together by our communication team with our advertising agencies paid off”, stated Dana Bursuc, Marketing Communications Senior Manager COSMOTE Romania.
First Gold winner was the communication platform launched in September last year, “Time to listen”, which stresses the importance of having the beloved ones close, even when being away, developed by Papaya Advertising. The campaign was awarded with Gold Effie at Corporate Reputation, Brand & Identity section.
COSMOTE Romania also won a Gold EFFIE in the Telecommunication voice offers section for “Smiley’s Garage” advertising campaign, promoting the prepaid segment and developed by Ogilvy & Mather Romania.
Last but not least, one Bronze Award went to “Frog – The Challenger” advertising campaign, developed by Ogilvy & Mather Romania and awarded at the section New Product or Service Introduction. No Gold or Silver award was offered at this category.
EFFIE Romanian Awards offered this year a total of 42 trophies that were offered to a number of 20 advertising agencies and companies. EFFIE Romanian Awards is one of the most important competitions in the advertising industry in Romania, promoting the role of advertising as an effective and efficient use of marketing resources.
