Chromebooks arrive across six European countries


Google announced its Chromebooks are coming to five new markets – Austria, Canada, Germany, France, Ireland and the Netherlands. The devices are made by HP, Acer and Samsung. In each country will be host a Google-event with the Chromebook’s educational prospects being a central theme. If you happen to live in there, you can learn the dates from here.

In the U.S., the Samsung Chromebook has been at the top of Amazon’s best-selling laptop list for 149 days since launch and in the U.K. In the U.S., Chromebooks will also be expanding to more than 1,000 Best Buy stores nationwide, doubling the number of stores Chromebooks are presently sold in.
