Asus might unveil a ROG gaming smartphone next month

- Adrian Ungureanu

At the beginning of the next month, from June 5th to June 9th, Computex will be held in Taiwan, and the latest rumors suggest that Asus will launch a Republic of Gamers (ROG) smartphone on this occasion.

The information would come from an Insider cited by GeekSniper, and sound pretty convinced that the Asus’ ROG division plans to unveil a gaming smartphone. But for now there is nothing official, so we will still treat this piece of information as a rumor.

Unfortunately, the source did not provide any information about the specs, but if we take look at the other two gaming smartphones available on the market, Razer and Black Shark, the new Asus ROG should be equipped with Snapdragon 845 processors, 8GB RAM and high refresh rate display, 120Hz if not 144Hz.
