Archos announce Xenon 80 tablet

Archos rolled out a new tablet – the Xenon 80. As you might have guessed, this is an 8-inch tablet with an IPS HD display, quad-core Snapdragon S4 CPU clocked at 1.2GHz and 1GB RAM. A pair of 2MP cameras is provided – apparently customers do demand photography from tablets. Storage capacity is only 4GB and its up to you to expand it via microSD cards. Connectivity options are Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth.

The tablet will run an unmodified (or just bundled with some Archos apps) build of Android Jelly Bean and will retail for $200. Well, do we have a cute little Nexus 7 competitor at hands here, or what?
