Apple will reduce the shipments of iPad mini in the second quarter of 2013 to 10-12 million units. The aim is to clear space for its successor which should be introduced in the third quarter. Apart from that, the huge competition in 7-inch tablets is making a mark as well, according to informed sources.
The new iPad mini is expected to debut a 7-inch Retina display (2048×1536) and 324ppi pixel density. Google are reportedly working on bringing a hi-res display to the Nexus 7 as well, so we expect both devices to make a lot of buzz in the tablet market.Source: DigiTimes
