You wouldn’t really invite Apple and Samsung at the same dinner party, would you? We totally agree with PhoneArena, but both parties have a business to run, right? Apparently Apple’s display manufacturing partners Sharp and AU Optronics have quality and quanitity issues with the production of hi-def displays for Apple’s next iPad and iPad mini. Samsung can ensure a consistent supply for both, and so can LG Display, who have reportedly upped their shipments for Cupertino.
The next iPad mini is expected to debut a 7-inch 2048×1536 display – that’s the same resolution as his big 9.7-inch daddy. The next iPad will accept some of the iPad mini’s design characteristics, notably the thinner bezel. And that’s all we have from planet iPad… for now.Source: PhoneArena
