According to Bloomberg, Apple is “a team of 100 specialists working on it” deep in the development of a smart-watch. Other technological medias are also reporting on it, talking of a curved glass display and business talks for manufacte at Foxconn’s facilities.
We don’t know for sure what Apple has on their hands… or quite literally, on their wrists, but they were pretty close to such a concept with the iPod Touch nano – just strap it on your wrist and you have an iOS watch. Muscles are not compulsory.
Interest in smart-watches and other types of wearable technology has risen and we won’t be surprised to see Apple’s watch before the end of the year. We are curious of the possible implementations such a device could carry, and we bet on Siri playing a big role in an Apple-watch’s interface.
