Some time ago, an interesting mid-range phone from Acer with DTS audio technology surfaced online. The time has come for the V360 to make itself official in the form of Liquid E1. Official specs by Acer are mid-range staples such as a dual-core 1GHz CPU, 1GB RAM, 4GB memory and Android 4.1.1 to bring the Jelly Bean goodness. The display is 4.5-inches with qHD (960×450) resolution. The rear camera is a 5MP snapper with LED flash, and the front camera is 0.3MP. The Liquid E1 weights 130 grams at 9.9mm thickness. Finally, the battery capacity is 1750mAh, which is on the smallish side, but Acer promise 8 hours talk time and 400 hours standby.
It’s somewhat dissapointing that there is no mention at all of the phone’s DTS audio technology and the odd metal circles on its back. We’d expect them to be accented in the smartphone’s presentation. Price and market availability too are kept under wraps for now.
