China’s Lenovo was granted certification from WiFi Alliance for 7 devices that will be sold under the Moto brand.
The model numbers are pretty similar so there is a slight chance that they are nothing else but different variants of the same main model. The model numbers are XT1770, XT1772, XT1773, XT1724, XT1725, XT1726 and XT1721.
From all of these the XT1773 in known to be the Moto E4 Plus which was granted certification for FCC as well. But there is no certain proof that the rest of the models are going to be variants of the Moto E4 series.
The other thing that links all the models together and makes us believe that these devices aren’t to different is that all of them have the same chipset, the MediaTek 6737.
But we shouldn’t have to wait to long to find what’s the truth about these models. Maybe we will find sooner than we think.
