180 projects on teimplici.ro platform compete for 50,000 euro grants


Telekom Romania announces the opening of the public vote and jury’s evaluation of the projects submitted on teimplici.ro platform, during November 25th to December 11th 2014.The top 10 projects ranked according to community and jury’s vote will benefit from 50,000 Euro total grants.   


180 projects have been submitted in Teimplici.ro contest, in 12 areas that had been previously voted by the community. Most of the projects have been submitted in „Prepared for life” area – 40 projects, followed by „Learn how to be a volunteer”, with 37 projects and „Protection of children, elderly and victims of violence” with 23 projects.


Between November 25th to December 11th, public is invited to vote their favorite project submitted on the teimplici.ro platform. In order to vote, users have to register and login on the teimplici.ro platform. Each person may vote several projects, but only once the same project. Public votes will count for 50% of the final grade of each project. Thus, everyone can contribute to identifying the most valuable projects for the community, in which Telekom Romania will invest in 2015.


The jury will evaluate the projects independently from the public vote. After aggregating the public votes and the jury’s evaluation, 10 winning projects will be nominated.


The winning projects and the organizations that have applied will be announced on December 17th on teimplici.ro website.The NGOs will receive total funds of up to 50,000 euro, which will be used in implementing the projects to the benefit of the communities in Romania.
