- The “Biggest Sports Hour” will take place on July 11th, 2015, between 9am – 9pm, in Piata Sfatului in Brasov;
- The event comprises of tens of sports demonstrations and a charitable cross;
- The “Biggest Sports Hour” is part of the “Sports is Good” campaign powered by Dolce Sport.
On Saturday, July 11th, 2015, will take place the “Biggest Sports Hour”, an event organized by Telekom Romania, in partnership with SmartAtletic and Getfit. During the event, which starts at 9am, all the participants will have free access to various sports activities and classes for 12 hours in Piata Sfatului in Brasov.
Fitness demonstrations will take place at the “Biggest Sports Hour” event in Brasov such as: Kangoo Jumps, Rebound AAS, Khai Bo, Functional Training, Steel Combat, Steel Tonic, Zumba and Onekor. In parallel, participants will have access at Boot Camp, Real Ryder (training with 20 stationary bicycles), Gravity (training with pulleys), TRX and a football area. The classes will be taught by world-renowned trainers.
Furthermore, sports enthusiasts are invited to register for the second edition of the charitable cross “Sports is good”. Runners will be able to choose from a simple cross and an obstacle cross, both on a distance of 4km. Registration for the cross can be made online on the “Sports is good” webpage. Through the Telekom Romania Foundation, the funds collected from the participation fees will be used to procure necessary medicine for children that have cancer.
This year, the “Biggest Sports Hour” celebrates five years since it was launched and represents the biggest sports event organized under the umbrella of the “Sports is Good” campaign. Since 2011, through the pro-health campaign, “Sports is Good” tens of sports events have been organized and supported, their number increasing yearly.
The medical partner of the event is Fundația Policlinici Sociale Regina Maria, which will offer free general screening tests for determining the health of participants and free advices for a healthy lifestyle.
